THE BRIEF
Reach enthusiasts beyond the local workshop.
Jamison’s wanted a national audience for its specialist automotive work. The initial brief included promoting tubular chassis for Corvette restomod projects.
Seller’s Bay designed and developed the website, provided marketing services and continued with maintenance. In his September 2020 review, Kerry Jamison described three website updates over the relationship.
This case study pairs that historical client account with later imagery from the business and our portfolio archive.
A BUSINESS WITH A DISTINCT IDENTITY
Put the specialist work at the center of the website.
The website’s visual identity is unmistakably automotive: prominent Corvette imagery, a dark navigation bar and a direct route to the gallery. The business and its work take priority over generic decorative imagery.
The workshop photograph gives the project a physical setting and helps visitors connect the online presentation with the company behind it.
DESIGN IN DETAIL
A clear route from interest to conversation.
Show the work first
The archived homepage leads with a striking vehicle image. A dedicated gallery gives visitors a route to explore more of the business’s work.
Explain the specialist services
Distinct sections introduce chassis conversions, parts, accessories and performance work. Each section combines focused copy with relevant imagery instead of presenting one long list.
Keep contact easy to find
The navigation, page content and lower call to action all provide routes to contact the shop. The address and phone details are grouped at the bottom of the design.
CLIENT FEEDBACK
A relationship built over successive updates.
In September 2020, Kerry Jamison reported regular calls from people who had seen the website. He also highlighted responsive communication and help with business email setup.
The review offers a qualitative account of the relationship rather than a measured conversion or revenue uplift.
